I Wonder Why

'I Wonder Why' was one of the Arista singles not released in a picture sleeve in the UK. I have found this strange myself, as Showaddywaddy's first Arista single, 'When' was in a picture sleeve, but no more were until 'Daddy Gee's' in 1979. Those two years saw Showaddywaddy's best chart success in the UK!

However, here are some foreign covers of 'I Wonder Why', mailed to me by Bernd Schofield:

.......Unlike this one from The Netherlands. The rainbow effect is just too cheesy isn't it?

Not too keen on this one either - a topless pose from the guys. No doubt many girls at the time had posters of this on their bedroom walls.....!

These versions of 'I Wonder Why' shown above and the UK version all had the same b-side, 'Ever Lovin''. On occasions, different releases in different countries had different b-sides.
